Jumana Hamdani, an architect and a researcher at Blekinge Institute of Technology

Jumana Hamdani is an architect and a researcher at Blekinge Institute of Technology, Spatial Planning Department in Sweden, and a Technical Coordinator in SESA Project: Smart Energy Solutions for Africa. She holds a professional degree in Advanced Computation for Architecture & Design from The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia in Barcelona and has been a designer of several public and private projects in Asia, Africa, and Europe for the past two decades. She worked in the field of Architectural Computational Design, BIM and Parametric Modelling, Space Habitat Architecture, Urban Analytics, Spatial Networks, Environmental Design Analysis, developing AI Methods, and Machine Learning Strategies for resilient sustainable neighborhoods. She is a member of the Swedish Architecture Association and the international list of the German Architectural Association of Baden-Württemberg, AKBW.

Sepa Sama, Doctor of Arts with a Focus on Walking as Artistic Research

Sepa Sama is an artist, architect, researcher, and educator. His journey started in Asia and continued to America and Europe. His transdisciplinary work focuses on architecture, art, and urbanism and their relationships. He collaborates with different professionals to experiment and formulate new possibilities. He graduated from Sci-arc (Architecture, 2008) and UCLA (Art and Urban Design, 2011) and holds a Ph.D. from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, with a focus on the subject of walking as artistic research (Notes on Walking, 2023).
